Healing Abutment
Healing abutments are manufactured from Grade 5 titanium and are placed on the fixture prior to any prosthetic procedure to allow soft tissue healing and shaping. Their height is selected so that they protrude approximately 2 mm above the gingival surface. Available diameters are 4.5 and 5.5 mm with gingival height (GH) ranging from 2 to 6 mm, giving the clinician a suitable range of choices.
